Hello fellow readers, here’s to another week of SEO news. I hope you’re excited about this week’s news cause we have some good ones.Â
A Twitter user recently asked Google’s John Mueller on whether there would be a penalization for stuffing keywords in the URL.Â
In response, John said that Google does not penalize webmasters for stuffing keywords in URLs. He said that stuffing keywords in URLs would neither bring positive nor negative for search engines.Â
Google has completed the rolling out for the September 2022 core update and the September 2022 product reviews update on the 26th of September 2022.Â
These updates have caused a lot of chatters in the SEO forums due to their significant impact.Â
However, certain segments of webmasters have reported that they saw traffic and impressions that they have lost during the updates returning.Â
If you are one of those that have been affected by the update, have you seen a recovery in your site’s traffic and impression? Do let me know.
In the recent Google Search On 22 event, Google announced a number of features that will be coming to Google Search. But none is more exciting than the introduction of the Search Query Refinement.Â
This new refinement would help aid users when they search in autocomplete and within the search results. With this function, Google will be presenting tappable words to build searcher queries on the fly.Â
That is it for this week’s SEO news. What do you think about this week’s news? Did I miss out on anything major across the SEO verse? Let me know in the comments below. Stay safe and have a good week ahead. See you next week!
