Bing’s Page Insights Launched | W4 November 2021

24/11/2021- Bing Launches Page Insights Lightbulb Search Results Feature

We talked about Page Insights a few weeks ago and it looks like it is finally live! 

Microsoft said “Page insights on the Microsoft Bing search results page, which provides summarized insights from a page on your search results so you can find what you’re looking for faster.”

22/11/2021- Google: Republished Review Won’t Be Displayed for Rich Results

Google won’t display enhanced search results for customer reviews that are republished from other sources, even if they have valid structured data markup.

If you want review snippets to show up in search results, the reviews have to be submitted directly to your website. If you take customer reviews for your business from a 3rd part website and publish it on your website, the page won’t be eligible for rich results.

Google’s system is set up in a way that they can detect whether something is a direct submission or from a third-party source. 

22/11/2021- Best Title Tag Length for SEO

We know that Google only shows roughly 60 to 5 characters on the SERP. John Mueller was asked whether this limitation is actually related to ranking, as in whether we ought to keep our title tags within this limitation in order to rank higher. 

He actually said that Google has no recommendations for the length of a title and that people ought to make them whatever length they want to. Title tag length essentially has zero impact on rankings.

23/11/2021- Google Image Search Tests New Related Image Carousel

Google Image Search has been spotted testing a new related images carousel feature for image previews on mobile. Take a look at the new vs old carousel below:
