19/7 – Stopwatch & timer removed from Google Search 

You may have already noticed that Google Search has removed the stopwatch and timer function. If you search for Stopwatch or timer on Google, only some Youtube suggestions and top pages would appear. 

20/7 – New way to verify site or property on Google Search Console 

There is now a new way to verify your website or property on Google Search Console. Users can now verify through a new DNS method, CNAME. 

Although, you can argue that this is technically not a new method to verify as this verification method was provided under the older version of Google Search Console. 

But hey, one extra method to verify your website or property is always better.

Google is currently testing out a new interactive card knowledge panel box layout for more specific search terms such as “How tall is Aaron Judge?” etc. 

What do you think about this interactive layout? I am quite a fan of it. 

21/7 – People Also Ask section is back on Google Search 

It was just last week that RankRanger and Semrush trackers reported that People Also Ask sections are appearing less frequently on SERP. 

Now it seems People Also Ask section has bounced back to normal levels. The question now remains, was this a bug, or was this Google testing out SERPs without People Also Ask section?
