By on October 14, 2022

Hello there, welcome to another week of SEO news. Has the month of October kicked off on the right note for you? Do let me know in the comments below. Now for our list of news for the week.

  • Google Local Map Pack Now Shows Previews
  • Google Adds Arrow To Knowledge Panels
  • Google Data Studio, Now Known As Looker Studio

10/10 – Google Local Map Pack Now Shows Previews

Google’s local map pack has recently undergone an enhancement with the introduction of a fuller local pack card.

Previously, when hovering over a business on Google local map pack, this is the result you get.

However, Google seems to be testing out a newer, fuller local pack card that shows the preview of the businesses which you hover over.

What do you think about this change? Are you for or against it?

Google Adds Arrows To Knowledge Panels

Google has recently added an additional arrow on the top-right corner of the knowledge panels.

By clicking on this arrow, it leads searchers to the interactive knowledge box layout.

12/10 – Google Data Studio, Now Known As Looker Studio

Google has renamed the Data Studio to be known now as the Looker Studio.

What do you think about the name change? Is it for the better? Does it have a catch to it? Let me know.

That’s it!

And that is all for today’s news. What do you think about Google’s changes? Do you think they are for the better? Or do you think Google should focus its time on more productive things? Let me know in the comments below.
